for me it would have to be Cardiff in Wales.
For me it is a regular holiday destination, a place where great friendships and memories have been made. It's a beautiful and vibrant city. Has lots of things to see and do and if you're a science fiction fan its the home of Dr Who and Torchwood. Both shows are filmed here and in the surrounding areas.
Take a trip down the bay and stroll across Roald Dahl Plass, which is instantly recognisable by both shows as the home of the Torchwood Hub and their invisible lift, and in dr Who the refuling stop for the Dr's TARDIS.
in the immediate vicinity there are numerous restaurants and coffee shops, many of which have featured in the shows. Belini's in the bay is a personal favourite of mine. lovely italian restaurant which was in Dr Who and was the site of Margret Slitheen's last meal with the 9th Doctor.
Its just a stones throw away from Ianto Jones' tourist information shop front, which is now a shrine to the much loved character who sadly departed the show in a showdown with the menacing 456 in the third season Children of Earth.
If Sci-Fi isnt your thing the city hosts some of the most thrilling shopping arcades and a lovely market.
And its a host to a beautiful Castle which can be toured aswell, and not a stones throw away from the castle is Bute Park which hosts the Gorsedd Circle which is very mystical and is magestic in its stature in the park. The ruins of an old priory which now only the the flooring is revealed amongst a rolling expanse of park which leads off into Sophia Gardens.
